Cannonball Run Europe

More trouble for the Cannonball Run Europe. After some police-problems in Switzerland (we reported about it), two Cannonballer are now in prison in France.

The French police stopped two british drivers with a Ferrari and Porsche on the A26 near BƩthune. They drove with a speed of 190 km/h (118 mph) and 244 km/h ( 152 mph). Now both waiting in prison for the trail.

On Sunday, two other British drivers were stopped near Saint-Omer and Boulogne-sur-Mer. A BMW and Ferrari driver were caught with a speed of 187 and 233 km/h (116 and 144 mph). They could leave after paying a 750-euro penalty.
