Today we arrived in Dresden. Monday Dresden will be the location for the start of The Challenge 2006. The Challengers are staying in the Kempinski hotel in Dresden. A very nice location in the old center of Dresden to start the journey to St Petersburg from.

Today Team Matrix drove to Dresden together with Team Spyker Squadron. Joris Roosen and Herbert van Kuik are driving a black Mercedes CL 55 AMG and had the chance to use it’s potential at the autobahn today.

The first cars arrived in Dresden and are currently being stickered. Among them is the Spyker C8 Spyder of the organiser Sjoerd van Stokkum. We made a short video of the amazing car and you can watch it below. Expect a new update with more pictures and news in the next couple of hours!

The only Ferrari F430 in this year Challenge arrived in style. Very loud and with a lot of cheering from the sidewalks. The team tries to be as much like the Ferrari F1 team as possible including the stickering of the car and act as characters Schumager and Massa.

The Maybach 62 just arrived at the hotel. This by far the most prestigious car on the rally. And we are sure the team will drive from party to party in style!

Over the last couple hours most Challengers arrived at the hotel. The amazing bunch of cars and people are getting together for the start of their adventure of 2006.

Instead of the Porsche Carrera GT these guys brought an Aston Martin Vanquish. Unlike Porsche there was no other Aston Martin at this years starting grid. So we welcome the Aston team and wish them a great journey.
