Another V10 supercar, the Melling Hellcat. It has a 700 bhp 6-litre engine. Planned for launch in November and it would be able to do a 200 mph.
The majority will be built over in the United States but approximately 50 will be built each year in Mr Melling’s Rochdale factory.
The Hellcat is looking to rival the likes of Ferrari and Aston Martin, with a stunning 0-62 time of 2.8 seconds.
Update:
Thanks to Xavier Berteloot for submitting this video!
Cars with Al Melling’s (founder) engines have been very successful at the Le Man 24-hour race on a number of occasions. We wish him all the best with his plans to enter the Melling at the 2007 Le Mans. If you wish to see the Hellcat in real life, it will be launched at next year’s Birmingham Motor Show.
