Gumball 2007: Jaguar XJ220 & A1 GP car

Watch out for the Irish A1 GP car in the streets of London this Sunday! A1 Grand Prix Team Ireland will bring one of their A1 cars to the grid of the Gumball 3000 sunday afternoon, it won’t do the whole 3000 mile rally but you can definatly see it moving on the first 2 mile of public roads together with the 120 Gumball teams! If you never seen or heard an F1/A1 car in real life, this is your chance!

The latest news is this Jaguar XJ220 doing the Gumball rally this year. Only 281 cars have been build of this 3.5 litre twin-turbo supercar. Jaguar build this car together with Tom Walkinshaw Racing and during the period the car was produced it was the fastest productioncar on earth. With a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph) it took an McLaren F1 to beat it. The Jaguar XJ 220 is a sought-after collectible and it’s amazing one of the owners dares to take it on the Gumball 3000!
