For some among us is the 420 bhp produced by the Jaguar XKR not enough. Then you should say: buy a car with more horsepower, but there are people who can’t stand the stunning looks of the Jaguar XK(R). Because of these customers, the German tuner Arden, decided to build a stronger version of the Jaguar although for some of us it probably lost some of his elegant looks.
The engine is enlarged from 4.2 to 4.5 liters and produces a very nice 480 bhp combined with 472 Nm of torque. The power upgrade makes the sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) 0.8 seconds faster than the standard XKR which is doing it in 4.9 seconds. The topspeed is a nice 177 mph (283 kmh).
That makes it the fastest Jaguar coupe around, and that’s got to be worth something: specifically, 160 000 euro. Not bad for a cat!
