Twin Turbo Audi R8 out of question

Some of us will without doubt remember the picture of the R8 that burned down on the Nordschleife beginning this year. Rumours went that it was a diesel R8 and so on. Now after half a year it turns out that it was a twin turbo V10 version of the R8, or RS8. And apparently that V10 catches fire easily. The two extra turbo’s fitted on the mid-engined R8 produced too much heat for the R8 body. Audi says that they are working on a V10 producing a little bit more than 500 bhp which means no 600 bhp in the RS8 from Audi and also that the most powerful R8 probably will be no more powerful than it’s sister the, Lamborghini Gallardo.
