2008 Ferrari F430 GT California

With worlds biggest motorshow coming, the Detroit Auto Show, Ferrari will have brand new model with the prancing horse on the nose. It will be called the F430 GT California. Pictures aren’t released yet but the new the Ferrari will be offered in both 2+2 seats and 2 seats versions. And it is convertible! Due to the 2 + 2 seats, the engine will be place in the front.

Under the hood of the Ferrari F430 GT California will be a 4.3 liter V8 with direct injection having an output of 450 bhp. It will both be available with the F1 sequential-shift gearbox as in the F430 Scuderia and the manual gearbox (only as option). The engine is expected to do the 0 -62 mph sprint in less than 4 seconds and have a top speed of 195 mph (312 kmh).

The new model will be priced at around 130000 euro and will probably compete with cars like Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Porsche 911 Turbo.
