Spyshot: Aston Martin DBS Volante
By Steven on Jan 21, 2008 in Aston Martin, Car News, Supercars

Thanks to the guys from LeftLaneNews we can provide you with quality spyshots of the upcomming Aston Martin DBS Volante. The first Aston Martin DBS Coupes haven’t even been delivered yet, and already the engineers from Aston Martin are testing a soft-top variant. The convertible was spotted just as the sun was setting in northern Sweden. Seems to be busy days for the british!
The steel roof will be replaced by a canvas-top and the layout of the side windows will be different from those of the DBS coupé, all other body components will be identical to the Volante’s.

To ensure a top-speed beyond 190 mph (304 kmh), Aston Martin will use the 6.0 liter V12 engine as in the coupe with a power output of 517 bhp and a torque of 420 Nm. The sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) will be covered in just over 4 seconds, the prices will be nothing less as € 300 000 (£ 223 000 or $ 435 000).
