It’s a long time ago yet, that the Tesla Roadster was presented to the public. This week it passed the crash-test and is now officialy ready for production. Now the engineers want to make a Tesla for the track, a rather strange decision when you think about the electric engine!
There was 1 big problem for the raceversion: the heatproblem for the air-cooled electric engine and when the engine temperature is too high, it turns automatically off. That’s offcourse not what you want from a circuit car.

A watercooled engine should provide the solution… we’ll see what the Tesla circuit car will bring during this year!
