Alfa Romeo announced their line-up for the upcoming 78th Geneva Car Show. Most eye catching car at their stand will be the production version of the Alfa 8C Spider. It’s now confirmed that it will indeed get the same 4.7 liter V8 engine from Maserati that can also be found in the normal Alfa 8C. Like the 8C Competizione the 8C Spider has 450 hp under the hood and like it’s hardtop brother only 500 spiders will be build.
Looking at the photographs you can see that the concept model of the 8C Spider shown at the Amsterdam Auto Show about a year ago went pretty much unchanged into production. Prices for the 8C Spider start at 181.000 euro and demand is high, so if you want to secure one of the most beautiful spiders on the market this year you better be quick!
