Ariel Atom 500 V8

It seems getting a trend, small super-light sportscars with very strong engines. After the Caterham earlier this week it’s now time for the Ariel Atom. Just like the Caterham this Ariel will be powered by a V8 engine! As the same suggests the V8 will produce 500 bhp, and that is a lot for a car like the Ariel. Official performance numbers haven’t been released yet, but we can expect it to go a bit faster than the Ariel Atom 3, which runns on a 2.0 liter VTEC Honda engine with only 245 horsepower. We guess there’s a new competitor for the KTM X-bow on the market…
