While Morgan is bringing a concept to the Geneva Autoshow starting next week, some news leaked about a brand new V8 engine for the Aero 8 model. We are talking about a 4.8 liter V8 from BMW. This upgrade is rather special because there aren’t much exclusive sportscar producers that can stay on the market these days, but at Morgan it’s all going well with in 2008 only 140 cars in order.
The new V8 will have an output of 367 bhp and that means about 50 bhp more than the current version. Thanks tot that upgrade the Morgan will sprint to 62 mph in only 4.2 seconds and reach a topspeed of 170 mph (270 kmh).
