Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupé sold out!

It seems like Rolls Royce is the popular über-luxery car at the moment. All 200 available pieces of the coupé are sold. If you bought one, you can expect it on your driveway by spring 2009. In Geneva Rolls Royce chairman Ian Robertson revealed a nice detail:

“Two out of three sales of the Phantom Coupé are bought by people who don’t currently own a Rolls. It means we’re beginning to appeal to a broader audience”.

The coupé is meant to be the sportier Rolls Royce, but to beat e.g. a Bentley Azure is something we don’t believe in. Even when we say that the Rolls Coupé is running on the traditionel V12 engine with 453 bhp we are still not convinced. A Rolls Royce is made for luxery, not for driving records on the German Autobahn! Next to the good results for the coupe, is the original Phantom doing it very good aswell, with yet over 1 000 sold pieces…
