Mercedes-Benz SL AMG Black Series

Mercedes’ AMG models are one by one stunning master pieces. But sometimes that’s not enough and therefore Mercedes-Benz created Black Series models of some cars. The new SL-class has been spotted several times and now we get more and more pictures of the SL Black Series aswell. Rumours go that the über SL could have a 720 bhp engine, but sources say that the engineers from Mercedes stop the power-increase at 680 bhp and that might be because their top-model, the SLR 722, which may not be overclassed by any other car.

The SLR runns on a 5,4 liter V8 engine with 650 bhp and the SL on a 6.0 liter V12 with 680 bhp.

Next to the engine there are also several aërodynamic changes such as several new spoilers on the side and a huge spoiler on the trunk. The official presentation for the SL Black Series is planned for the German F1 weekend in July!
