Things are looking better for Maybach

A few days ago we reported about the possible end of Maybach. To be honest it would have been a shame to see Maybach going! But today we got some good news on this. Dieter Zetsche, CEO at Maybach, told the American press that the news about the disappointing sales number are wrong. He told the media that Maybach produced well over the 146 cars mentioned in media. The real number of produced Maybach’s is about 400, where from 156 were delivered to the USA.
Next to this Daimler claims that Maybach made enough profit in the last 6 years to keep the brand alive. Knowing that the super exclusive and equally expensive Maybach Landaulet is sceduled for this year and that Maybach is working on a smaller Maybach that should be positioned under the Maybach 57, we are glad the brand won’t cease to exist!
