Mercedes-Benz SL CK50 by Carlsson

It’s not yet a full week after seeing the first beautifull pictures on the brand new Mercedes-Benz SL tuned by Brabus, and yet the first competitor in has arrived. German tuner Carlsson took a SL 500 Convertible in their shop and created something that almost beats the Mercedes-Benz CL 63 AMG. Under the name CK50, Carlsson lifts an output of 436 bhp and 600 Nm of torque. This power let’s the SL sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 kmh) in just 5.1 seconds and hitting a topspeed of 183 mph (293 kmh).

Next to this stunning result, Carlsson is already developing a new kit for the V12 SL 600 and that one would have an output of more than 700 bhp and 1,100 Nm of torque.

Numbers are impressive, have to wait for more pics though to make a full judgement… looks wise!
