2011 BMW M5

Knowing the BMW M5 is not as strong as it’s direct competitor from Stuttgart, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG, it’s no surprise that the first rumours about a facelift arrived this week. The new M5 will have the same 5.5 liter V10 but after a review on the turbo’s and use of direct-injection the V10 should have an output of 550 bhp, or even more!
The facelift of the 5-series will be in the showrooms in 2010 so it will be about a year later untill we see the new M5…To be clear, the M5 in the picture is the current model…

Hope they get rid of I-Distract that tends to put a lot of people ordering what is a fantastic car!
Great to read, that the new M5 will have more power. Will be interesting to see the new facelift. Hope it will turn out to be a little more agressive than the current model.
Seeing the M5 getting stronger is nice.. but after reading the first rumours on the new E63 AMG… they should raise the power of the M5 close to 600 bhp
