Last saturday was a special day in the Czech Republic. There was a supercar meeting at the refreshed Masaryk Circuit in Brno. This meeting was set-up to as a symbolic test of the official opening on Sunday! A major attraction was undoubtedly the Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda. Next to that there were three Carrery GT’s, an Ariel Atom, an Ultima GTR, a Lamborghini LP 640 and Gallardo Superleggera. The other Italian proud came up with several 360 Modenas, F430’s and many others.

German supercar manufacturers Porsche & BMW were also present with several 996 and 997 Turbo’s, GT3’s and GT3RS’s. BMW showed up with a number of M3’s, M5’s, M6’s and a Z4M. Next to all these beauties there were RS4’s, R8’s, Mercedes’s…
Fastest around the circuit itself was clearly the a Ford GT, probably because it had a special track-suspension.

It is not brand new Masaryk Circuit in Brno. There is new tarmac only!

Been there and the Ford GT had undoubtedly the best sound. The high-pitched sounds coming out of all cars ranging from Nissan 350Zs to tuned 997s…none of them could compare to the Ford, which just flew through the pit with supersonic blast :)
Shame that they have high fences everywhere, thus making it hard to take photos. The last 2 corners before pit were kinda ok…need to get some sort of press pass next year.
