Chevrolet Camaro Engine Details

This stunning retro-looking car is announced for a while now and we probably all know how it looks aswell. What we didn’t know before is what power sources this American muscle car would have under it’s hood. Today we can tell you that, if you’re interested in buying one, you’ll have the choice between 3 engines. For the beginners there’s the so called, LS, with a 3.5 or 4 liter V6 engine producing 220 bhp. Next in line is the LT, with the 3.6 V6 with direct injection from the Cadillac CTS giving the Camaro 300 bhp. To close the range there’s the SS, a 6.2 liter V8 breathing out 405 bhp. This topversion gets special SS wheels and 20 inch Brembo brakes.
For the extreme sportives among us, we can tell you that’s there a rumour going around about a high-performance version of the Camaro Convertible, a supercharged 6.2 LSA V8 from the fabulous Corvette ZR1 and the Cadillac CTS-V with about 500 bhp.
Those who were following the Camaro from close, before will probably know there was a rumour about a hybrid version, but that one isn’t coming. Maybe that better, imagine a muscle car on a hybrid engine?
