SSC Ultimate Aero EV
By Des on Jul 16, 2008 in Car News, Supercars

SSC announced plans for an electric version of their SSC Ultimate Aero supercar. Claims have been made that it runs on two-dual 500hp electric engines and a battery that should last without recharging for six years. All sounds like they have a long way to go but with the electric Tesla Roadster and the recent Lightning GT EV there certainly is a growing market for electric supercars.
The SSC Ultimate Aero holds the current record for world’s fastest production car. If Shelby Supercars manages to develop an electric Ultimate Aero, there’s no doubt they will try to set a record for the fastest electical car.
