After seeing the brand new and beautiful Lotus Evora we didn’t expect to hear something soon from the Britisch car producer. But then we forgot about the tuners out there. Stark Automotive Industries offers supercar-like abilities package for the current Lotus Elise at rather un-supercar prices. The created a Series 1 or Series 2 package. The company first starts by striping the car completely down to its chassis. Then the Elise is rebuilt and restored to the buyer’s specifications using completely new fasteners.

The refreshed engine will push the car from 0 - 62 mph in just 3.9 seconds, 0 - 100 mph (162 kmh) in 9.5 seconds and have a top speed of around 160 mph (256 kmh). Along with that engine review, the Elise will get full upgraded suspension, a new set of brake discs and a set of new Lotus Sport wheels with road-legal track tires from Yokohama.
Price for the Stark Lotus Elise R will be around $ 53,500 (€ 34,300 - £ 27,000).
