H&R and Hamann BMW 7 Series and some Hartge…

Car News, Hamann, Tuning News — By on December 9, 2008 at 3:58 pm — No Comments

Here at GTSpirit we like our luxury limousines so we thought we’d bring you some images of the early stages of tuning activity on the new BMW 7-Series. Having only just hit dealerships, companies like Hamann are among the first to modify these cars.

The first example is that of H&R Springs and Hamann who have teamed up to produce this show car, highlighting their skills to be applied to the Bavarian beast. H&R have added a new spring set which lowers the car by about 4cm without a loss in the driving precision. Also from H&R are the TRAK+ wheel spacers made of a high strength Alloy. Wheel spacers move the wheel out from the hub, effectively widening the stance of the vehicle and lowering its roll centre. To add to the new look theres some new Hamann Alloys, no word on what there called but there website claims they’ll be available soon.

Next up is the Hartge wheels which appear to be for the inner-footballer inside of us. There named the “Hartge Classic” and are available in 22-inches and combined with 265/30 ZR 22 tires up front and 295/25 ZR 22 tires on the rear. Theres no price yet but expect them to compete with the Hamann set. We prefer the Hamann look, especially combined with the H&R spring set, leave us your opinion in the comments box below.
