This must be the best pictures of the GT3 RS’s facelift sofar. That it was coming after the coupé, cabrio, targa and turbo of 997 series got the new look was expected, but that the car is in this stage yet is earlier than we thought. These test cars have been spotted in the French alps, probably the best place to test the power output of the car on the road or maybe just not in this season thinking of the back wheel traction. Anyway, it didn’t stop the Germans to go out and test the facelifted GT3 RS. The car will get the same updates as the other 911’s including the Turbo’s LED light strips up front, the retro decal stripe and badge graphic down the quarter panel, plus colored wheels, contrasting wing-mirror housings, a big rear wing and an interior roll cage. A carbon fiber rear wing and hood plus a plastic rear window will help the RS to sprint to 62 mph (100 kmh) in only 4.2 seconds.
