Aston Martin Rapide Images Leaked?

We’ve reported on the Aston Martin Rapide several times through its development, in fact it’s probably our most reported upon development mule. It seems that recently, Aston’s four-door has been losing more and camouflage and is now becoming closer than ever to complete production readiness. These (albeit quite small) ‘official pictures’ from Autocar apparently show the car as it will be sold.

It’s still a CAD image but it shows a new styling line running from the front wheel, back and through the door much like the V8 Vantage. It looks to have remained faithful to the original concept and definitely looks less controversial than the Porsche Panamera we saw a few months back. To refresh our minds on what the elongated DB9 will be like, it has a 480bhp 6.0-litre V12 and will cost around £140,000 (€150,000), it should see a launch of Autumn this year. Perhaps we might even see it at Geneva!
