Audi puts nearly as much effort into making commercials as it does in making cars. Great example is last nights Super Bowl commercial. As you probably know the half time commercial break of the Super Bowl is the world’s most expensive opportunity for advertisers to get their message on the screen. Last night’s game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers had a record $3 million-per-half-minute pricetag for commercials.

Audi aired a minute long commerical (costing $ 6 million just to air) that reached anywhere between 90 and 148 million TV viewers. But it goes a lot further than just TV, on the web Audi released a special trailer to announce their Super Bowl ad and Audi made ‘the making of’ the Audi Super Bowl commercial. I hear you think, what is the commercial all about? It’s not the latest 5.2 liter V10 version of the Audi R8 but the new Supercharged Audi A6 Saloon. Watch all Audi Super Bowl videos below.
