Porsche Carrera GT Crashed in Marbella
Marbella, Porsche — By Des on February 4, 2009 at 10:19 pm — 7 Comments
Again the Porsche Carrera GT proved itself as an extremely tricky car to drive. In Marbella a Porsche driver lost control and crashed his Carrera GT in a ditch next to the road. It’s a shame another Carrera GT can’t tell the tale. Judging by the previous crashes it can happen to anyone, even skilled drivers are prone to the GT’s huge power on the rear wheels and lack of ESP and traction control.

Sad Reading:

I read a case report on a major accident on a Porsche Club (US?) where an accident happened on track. As a result most CGT’s aren’t allowed on track anymore. I’ll find the link if i can.
Yeah, fact is it’s just a very very tricky car to drive.
Maybe too many kids driving around in dad’s car?
Or the other way round regarding Hamilton’s dad crashing a CGT xD.
Sad ending for such a nice car. Far too many CGT’s get wrecked, they must have very twitchy handling properties.
Again?
