Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst S

As a matter of fact we should call the Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst S a Holden Commodore, because the car has it’s origin in Australia. But a team of Britisch engineers changed the car and renamed it Vauxhall. A while back we saw the Vauxhall VXR8 with a stunning output of 431 bhp. That apparently wasn’t enough for the engineers and that’s the reason why they’ve fitted a Walkinshaw 122 Supercharger on the engine, resulting in an output of 560 bhp together with 715 Nm of torque. A topspeed and sprint time to 62 mph isn’t know yet but if we tell you that the standard VXR8 does the sprint just 4.9 seconds, we can start hoping for the 4 seconds barrier.

The Bathurst S can recognised by the badges and stickers on the side and the name-plate inside the car. As an option you can also choose for a RVS-exhaust with several sound levels (Street – 92 decibel or Optimum – 102 decibel). Nice to know is that this high-powered saloon is yours for just 51,000 euro.
