Geneva: RUF eRUF Concept

The head of the manufacturer RUF had the idea of developing an electrically driven sports car. The concept shown here in Geneva is called the eRUF. The vehicle presented is equipped with a central motor with a power output of 270 kW and 950 Nm torque. The following version will be produced as a small series and as a double-motor concept with the innovative integral eDrive developed together with Siemens.

eRUF will be the first electric vehicle from the company, which is capable to be recharged in less than an hour at a 400-volt power outlet. The small series is expected to hit the streets in 2010.
