Tuner’s have recently been trying to get ahead of the game with the latest Mercedes E-Class. Lorinser are no different. They have just released images of their 2010 E-Class saloon and coupé modifications, and details of the power outputs that they hope to achieve, even though the cars are yet to hit showrooms!

Lorinser are claiming 435bhp and 420lb.ft of torque for the E500 model. This is made possible by a new high flow sports exhaust system, new camshafts and an ECU re-programme. The German company have also removed the 155mph speed restrictors, freeing the car and allowing it reach a top speed of approximately 174mph.

As with most tuners, the mechanicals are not the only part of the car that will receive the make over. The body will receive lowered suspension to start with and a set of 20 inch alloys. These will give the car a lower, sportier look as well as improving the car’s handling and ride.

The body kit will give the car new front and rear bumpers, wider wheel arches and re-designed side sills. The design sketches also show the incorporation of a rear window spoiler and the popular side ‘shark gill’ style air intake for the Coupé.

Lorinser hope to make the cars available to potential customers at the end of April, when the new E-Class goes on sale!
