Carlsson previews their new E-class program. The official release is due to the 2009 Bodensee Tuning World auto show in Germany starting next week. The package contains exterior changes, interior addings, a new suspension system and ECU upgrades.

The German tuner installed vertically-running LED daytime running lights, a stainless steel mesh grille and a redesigned front apron. The sides contain new bold skirts adding a more aggresive style to the vehicle. The rear is fitted with an integrated diffuser, a rear spoiler and steel tailpipes. The split-spoke wheels measure up to 20-inches in diameter and are finished in black and silver.

Inside the W212 E-Class you will find brushed aluminium pedals, leather/alcantara, new floor mats with a white illuminated Carlsson logo and aluminium door locking pins.

The tuner installed a suspension system called C-Tronic SUSPENSION. The system can lower the car by up to 42mm. Engines upgrades are available. In June the E250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY gets a power hike of 40hp to 244hp (179kW) and the E350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY gets an extra 46hp for a total of 277hp (204kW) from July. Power in the E500 V8 increases by 55hp to 443hp (326kW).
