Spyshots: Porsche Aerokit Cup For 997 Facelift

Porsche is developing an Aerokit Cup for their Porsche 997 facelift. The package contains a new front and rear bumper and rear wing. The front bumper is completely redesigned. The rear gets only minor modifications with respect to the first generation Porsche Tequipment Aerokit Cup.

You can get the Aerokit Cup directly from the factory. It can also be fitted on existing cars as after sales solution. Porsche will unveil the new package at the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) in September.

Next to this new body kit an optional Powerkit will be unveiled, increasing the power of the Porsche 997 Carrera S facelift by approximately 25hp. According to rumours the Powerkit will include the Porsche Sport exhaust system (which is already available). The Aerokit Cup prototype on the spy shots has this exhaust system fitted. It could be that the car shown is maybe not just a prototype for the Aerokit Cup but also an prototype for the Powerkit.
