59th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will be the event where Infiniti, Nissan’s premium division, will unveil their latest addition to the line-up; a new M Performance Luxury Sedan. The new car will be placed above the existing G37.
Autocar.co.uk has stated that Infiniti is seriously considering bringing its forthcoming hybrid M saloon to Europe in 2011. The hybrid is set to launch in the US in 2010 and packs a 3.7 liter V6-engine coupled to a compact electric motor running on lithium-ion batteries. A technique we saw in Infiniti’s Essence concept at this year’s Geneva show.
