Lamborghini LP550 Gallardo Valentino Balboni

The guys at Inside Line have driven the new Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni edition and spoke to the man himself. They concluded that the LP550 – Lamborghini’s first two-wheeler in about ten years – is “liberating, demanding and thus perfect”. Do we need to say more? Yes we can…

Both the Gallardo and Murcièlago will get specific rear-wheel-drive models in addition to the current all-wheel-drive versions, and not in just Valentino Balboni-style limited editions. This is good news for all people who were suggesting a rear-wheel drive conversion to their current Lambo. There is no news on the availability of these models. Stay tuned for more…

Lamborghini will start the shipments of the LP550-2 Valentino Balboni in the U.S. by late October after the Europeans get theirs in mid-September. Pricing starts at $219,800 and a limited number of 250 are available.
