Gemballa GT 750 Aero 3

Gemballa have one of the most successful tuning kits for the Porsche Cayenne… yet we’ve never told you about it. The GT 750 Aero 3 Sport Design therefore seems the perfect excuse to tell you about this well sorted kit from one of the most highly respected Porsche tuner’s. This version, completed for a customer only recently, features a 750bhp upgrade as well as a whole host of other luxuries to give it that exclusive feel.

Based on the 957 Cayenne Turbo, which already had a colossal 490bhp, the GT 750’s 750bhp makes it one of the fastest Cayenne’s on the planet. We haven’t been told how Gemballa have managed to release this much power but we suspect bigger turbochargers and a high flow exhaust may feature.

The Aero Kit features a whole host of new body panels. There’s a new bonnet with air intakes to cool the beastly engine that lurks underneath. New front skirts don’t attempt to hide any of the GT750’s new air intakes nor do the rear fender extensions. The side skirts are. however, a little more subtle in purpose as they hide air vents that channel air into the void between the tires and the car and help cool the brakes. Taking a step back the GT750 looks like the bodybuilder of all Cayenne’s, the air intakes make it look as though it’s trying to escape it’s skin at every possible opportunity.

New rear view mirrors with side indicators, daytime running lights mounted on the front grille and 22 inch Gemballa GT SPORT-R Wheel’s finish the exterior set. The new exhaust is a mixture between form and function, providing that extra release of power as well as a nice, neat quad exhaust set-up. The brakes are suitably upgraded to cater for the increase in power.

Leaving the engineering behind, Gemballa also work on the interior to offer customers a nice relaxed environment, tailored to their particular taste. Whilst deep red leather and Alcantara isn’t to everyone’s taste, Gemballa supply seats and interiors to cater for everyone. There’s a choice of 4 different seat styles as well, ranging from Alcantara and leather as seen here to a sportier (and less comfortable) mix of leather and Carbon. This car also features an interior carbon kit, a monitor in the dashboard and 10inch screens in the headrests.

The last part of this package is the adjustable sports suspension. It lowers itself electronically to a height 40mm lower than the standard Cayenne. If you need to know more, contact Gemballa through their website.
