Top Gear

Today we got confirmation that the next Series of Top Gear is currently being filmed in High Definition and will be broadcast on the BBC’s HD channel when it returns on November 15th.

This is fantastic news, as now everything we come to expect from the Top Gear trio (Supercar tests & races with jaw dropping scenery) will be available to watch in crystal clarity.

This won’t be the first time that the Top Gear production crew have used HD cameras, since the Top Gear: Polar Special was filmed entirely in High Definition, as was some of the in car footage from Series 13.

With filming currently under way, we’re expecting it to be back on a screens (now in glorious High Def) November 15th.

If you can’t wait that long, then check out our forum for links to all episodes from the previous 13 series.

  1. Lucky you… for the rest of the world the question is: do you download the 700MB standard def. torrent and watch it on sunday night, or do you wait monday for the 1.4GB HD version ?
    Hum… I’ll get both.

  2. I’m a member of some invite-only sites that have excellent speeds- lots of seeders (I get 1.5-2MBps) on average.

I’ll try and upload stuff to a storage site and let you guys grab it from there if I’m organized enough to get it as soon as it comes out.
