Ultimate Factories: Porsche Assembling

National Geographic series ‘Ultimate Factories‘ is up for it’s fourth episode, airing tomorrow 8 PM. This time we get a closer look inside the factory of one of worlds most iconic sports cars; Porsche based in Stuttgart, Germany. The 911 series that first started in 1964 is still produced on the same grounds, having fourteen different cars in the series today.

The range goes from an all-day 911 Carrera able of a 185mph (296km/h) topspeed up to the top of the range 911 GT3 that reaches a 194mph (310km/h) topspeed. In the video below we can see the Porsche’s body being transported by a bridge over a busy road in Stuttgart bringing it to begin of it’s painting process. Enjoy!
