Lumma Design has launched a special edition based on the E-Class W212 at Essen Motor Show. The special edition includes some design changes as well as an increase of horsepower.
At the front the tuner mounted a front spoiler bumper with integrated daylights. Newly designed side skirts, a sport fender with integrated vents with a high gloss polished fin made of aluminum are also available. The bodykit contains also a lip spoiler and a sporty rear valance bumper with separate diffuser. As option available they are made of carbon. The trunk lid with integrated rear spoiler tearing edge and elongated change-over to the bumper are all made of carbon/kevlar to save weight.
Light wheels were mounted. The light metal rims Racing Edition size 9×20 inch and 10,5×20 inch were fitted with tires from Michelin size 245/30-20 and 285/25-20. Due to a lowering module the E-class is 25mm closer to the street.
An increased performance of the E 500 is released up to 316kw (450hp) and 550Nm torque. A D-Box is available for all Diesel-types. Additional there is a ‘GPM-Powermodul’ responsible for a better response of the accelerator and a noticeable performance enhancing. Lumma Design also offers to this a special sport exhaust system, made of the finest stainless steel with 4×90 mm end pipes.
The interior has changed too. A pedal-set for accelerator and brake pedal and emergency brake made of milled aluminum with non-slip rubber naps are on the list. Additional you can get a footrest with rubber naps and a set of car mats made of suede – optional available in leather.
Furthermore there is an individual fitted trunk mat made of suede and an entrance strip set with lighted Lumma lettering. The package is completed with a new speedometer reaching up to 300km/h.
