Maserati Quattroporte Sport GTS Awards Edition

The Italian manufacturer Maserati has unveiled its Quattroporte Sport GT S “Awards Edition”, which makes its official debut at the Geneva Auto Show next week. Six years after its birth, the Quattroporte has received no less than 56 awards from automotive and lifestyle publications in fourteen countries over four continents. The luxury vehicle celebrates this achievement.

The new Quattroporte Sport GT S “Awards Edition” combines a new Quarzo fuso exterior colour ā€“ a pearlescent metallic grey with a golden hue ā€“ exclusive to this model with new exterior chrome parts, as well as side air vents and radiator surround. You will also spot matching 20 inch Multi Trident dark grey rims with satin finish. A special exterior “Awards Edition” series plate completes the carā€™s exterior look.

The braking system which uses dual-cast technology, is enhanced by the hand-polished callipers both at the front and rear. It is the first time we see polished callipers, which have a special mirror-like appearance.

On the inside, Poltrona Frau leather on the seats is combined with perforated Alcantara with a new undulated pattern. The headlining is also in Alcantara. Completing the cabin finishes are the special brushed aluminium door sills and Piano Black satin-finish wood mouldings. The boot is finished in black trim and features chrome details and a leather side pocket. The floor mats are made of a richer and softer material.

The “Awards Edition” Quattroporte Sport GT S will be available in the UK as a special order in the second half of 2010, as model year 2011. Prices are unknown at this stage.
