McLaren Automotive has released a video of the latest Experimental Prototypes (XP) undergoing a serie of tests in Spain’s Applus IDIADA facility and on public roads near Tarragona. The two XP Beta-phase prototypes – the XP8 and XP10 – are featuring a revised iteration of the M838T twin-turbo engine, a transmission featuring new gear ratios, a more efficient cooling package, a new suspension geometry and an upgraded electrical architecture. Both are based upon the upcoming MP4-12C.
