Geneva 2010: Porsche Boxster Spyder

Porsche Boxster Spyder

In between several major introductions we spotted a known vehicle to us all. The new Porsche Boxster Spyder was also showcased by Porsche.

The basis for this ‘entry level’ Porsche Boxster is the inspiration rooted firmly in the 550 Spyder, one of Porsche’s most infamous sports cars. The Porsche Boxster Spyder gains an extra 10bhp over the Boxster S bringing the total figure up to 320bhp. 0-100km/h (62mph) is achieved in 4.8 seconds thanks in no small part to the PDK gearbox and Porsche’s version of the launch control system. It’ll reach a top speed of 267km/h (166mph).
