AMS Performance has broken the 9 second barrier for very first time with its tuned Nissan GT-R. By using a SR850 upgrade package the vehicle becomes – as far as we know – the fastest GT-R on the planet.
They haven’t gained any weight within the car. The weight package is all stock. While watching the video you will see the AMS Performance Nissan GT-R performing a quarter mile run in 9.89 seconds and achieving a top speed of 146.9mph. That is more than 230km/h. Impressive!
Enjoy the footage!

What is the benchmark by the way? how fast does a veyron do the quarter mile stock.
wow… thats amazing! Too bad the Samurai GT-R broke… it was hitting 10.5 secs in the 1/4 consistently until the tranny blew… http://www.automotiveaddicts.com/1300/transmission-goes-boom-samurai-speed-nissan-gt-r-blows-tranny-at-drag-strip
Veyron clocks in at 10.2, i still wouldnt really compare them though, two totally different ways to achieve that power.
Thats very very good.
Gee, Mitsubishi GTO’s have been doing that and better back in 2007! They are down in the 8’s now!
