Corvette ZR1 RHD by Performax

The fastest roadgoing Chevrolet Corvette ever built is the supercharged ZR1. The vehicle was only a left-hand drive model, but that is going to change. Corvette importer Performax International will reveal the first RHD ZR1 at the 22nd National Corvette Convention in Perth over Easter. They will get Australian Design Rule approval for the car soon, clearing it for sale and registration in all States and Territories.

The Chevy Corvette ZR1 features a supercharged, 6.2 liter GM LS9 motor producing 638hp (476kW) of power and 815 Nm (604lb-ft) of torque. Its top speed is around 320km/h and 0-100km/h acceleration time less than four seconds.

For those people living down under, the Performax International ZR1 will be on display at the convention headquarters at the Rendezvous Observation City hotel at Scarborough from Good Friday until Easter Monday. It also will join Corvettes driving into the city between 10 am and 3 pm on Easter Saturday.
