During our stay in Abu Dhabi and Dubai GTspirit got the chance to visit several dealerships. One of those is Ali & Sons Motors Co. LLC, dealer for brands like Porsche, Audi and Volkswagen, but also German tuner ABT Sportsline.
The Porsche brand was first introduced to the city of Abu Dhabi in 1987. At that time the Ali & Sons Group was entrusted the exclusive dealership of the German made sports car brand. They started from a single showroom that housed all the three brands. They are now ranked among the top ten importers of Audi and Volkswagen cars and are member of the exclusive 100 Club of Volkswagen/Audi. The dealer also a major player selling ABT Sportsline packages in the UAE region.
The dealership has several local showrooms in the city of Abu Dhabi; one for each brand and one for used cars. The workshop is placed at an industrial area just outside the city center. The amount of work places is one of the largest in the world. Ali & Sons maintains the largest fleet of Audi A8 and S8 vehicles in the world. We lost count while walking through the workshop. Cleaning, maintenance, paint jobs and full repairs are being performed on a daily basis inside the garage of Ali & Sons.
Inside the gallery below you will spot several unique pictures. Check out the parking garage and count the amount of white Porsche Panamera’s parked inside it! Our contact at the dealership told us they are building a new showroom and parking for Porsche only. They just do not have enough space to park all the cars! Something which became clear when we saw the parking lot behind the dealership… Crashed vehicles and cars awaiting new parts were parked in the sun, dust and temperatures reaching up to 45 degrees Celsius. It looked like they were awaiting their final destiny.
