The big winner of the Texas Mile event on March 26-28, 2010 was Richard Holt. He was piloting his Underground Racing Twin-Turbo Gallardo Superleggera with an E-Gear transmission and reached 250.1mph (402.49km/h). A major achievement for a Twin-Turbo Gallardo!
The video shows three runs in which he tried to reach the 250mph-mark. In the end he did! Congratulations!

@bob, you do not know anything about TT Lambos that hit 250 in a mile where your Bugatti would still be at maybe 220 and accelerating to its top speed
The veyron could run all day long posting times, whereas that lambo would blow up.
Got to see the Lambo at the Miami airstrip April 25!! it was awesome!!
I cant believe the turbo system on the car can even take those numbers repeatedly. It shows Undergrounds performance as well as durability and reliability.
I find hard to beleave they let that guy hit those kind of speeds after that stupid slide. He thought he has driving an american car.
“Omg this european car is hell, i wet my pants, mammy”
What kind of tires does he use?
Do they even make 250mph rated tires for the lambo?
LOL yeah all those people who got ripped off bying a Veyron ..When you can use TwinTurbos and hit 250mph and hit it faster than a veyron too ..The Veyron did the standing mile at 223-5 mph this Lambo is hitting 250mph in the mile !!!!!!!!ByeBye VEYRON LOL
up your ass veyron :-)
I dont know but i think he should have warmed the tire up with a good burnout
How fast was he going when he began to slide?
GO UGR !!!! KICKASS ill see you all at the Miami Airstrip April 25!!! cant wait !!
