After unveiling the brand new portfolio of the Audi driving experience in the US, we can now share with you exclusively that the full racing experience including the Audi R8 LMS racer is heading to Europe. A total of five different programs are available, so there is a lot to choose from.
First stop is the Individual training which gives you the opportunity to enjoy a R8 experience. Participants must have basic prior experience on racetracks in order to take part. The training venue in Groß Dölln in Germany is the spot where you discover the Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro and the Audi R8 LMS exclusively. You are also able to book your customised training programme as an incentive for your company or as an exclusive event for guests and friends, provided that the participation requirements are complied with.
Secondly you can experience the Audi R8 LMS in an exclusive training course. Only when you already have a motor racing license. Only four participants, each with their own Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro, and two instructors prepare you for the Audi R8 LMS experience on the Eurospeedway Lausitz.
Thirdly you can receive your professional licence from the German Motor Sports Federation (DMSB). Awaiting you at the Groß Dölln is an Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro training car. A small groups of just four participants are available per instructor. At the end of the day you will have the ability to drive the R8 LMS. Participants who pass the training course can apply to the German Motor Sports Federation (DMSB) for the German National A Licence. Only participants with German citizenship are eligible; participants without German citizenship must agree on accreditation of the training course / issuing of the licence in advance with the national motor sports federation of the country concerned.
The fourth package available is called Qualification. During this driver training course you will receive intensive tuition from the instructors in preparation for active participation. Selecting the racing line, race tactics and conduct during the race. Applicants wanting to take part in this driver training course must already have a motor racing licence and racetrack experience.
The final package is brand new. The project offers licence holders an unique opportunity to gain active motor racing experience at a professional level, even if you do not have their own team. Audi works team Joest-Racing gives you the opportunity to take part in a race as a driver in this year’s VLN Endurance Championship on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife. The prerequisite for active race participation is adequateknowledge of the Nordschleife track. In a separate two-day driving training course, the instructors at Groß Dölln will prepare you for the race.
