Spyshots 2011 Mercedes-Benz CLS

The next generation CLS has been spotted by a team of spy photographers from Autoexpress during an official shoot in Germany. The new four-door coupé was caught during a press shoot and will be introduced during the Paris Motor Show in October.

Within the design you spot some nice details as LED running lights and a larger, more upright grille. In some way the design matches with the recently revealed CL and gives the vehicle a more imposing presence on the road.

Under the bonnet, the vehicle will have the option to choose from a pair of petrol engines – also available in the CL – and a six-cylinder 350 CDI diesel. The new twin-turbo 4.7 liter V8 produces 429bhp and 700Nm of torque. That is 12 and 32 per cent more than the outgoing CLS 500 respectively.

  1. WOW, this car is so ugly I don’t even know where to begin. The current CLS actually looks like a successor to this ugly thing. Is everyone @ MB wearing beer goggles…how did this even pass approval. Even the side mirrors alone are hideous….jeeez!!
