No Audi RS Imports for North America

MTM distributor for North America Horchaus had initial plans of importing models like the RS6, RS6 Avant, and B7 RS4 Avant. The story started at the beginning of 2010. Unfortunately, they have failed to secure the required clearances. Horchaus commented;
We did not manage to work our way through the regulatory commissions to ensure that the cars indeed meet all North American regulations. We could not finalize the legalization of these vehicles here without the appropriate collaborators.
So eventough there were the right intentions it won’t be happening and will not see any imported RS vehicles on North American roads.

Is it absolute certainty that the RS5 is still going state-side?
How can we get the Nissan Skyline to pass everything but we can’t even get the RS series imported…Bumbs me out!!!!
All RS’s except the RS5, that car is still coming in 2012.
is this just for MTM ones or all RS’s?
