Video First Driving Footage Porsche 918 Spyder

The first ever driving footage of the new Porsche 918 Spyder concept has been filmed and uploaded to YouTube. One video shows the roofless hybrid concept driving over a local mountain road somewhere in Carmel, US. The second video was shot inside the Pebble Peach event center. In both videos you can hear the engine running and the exhaust tune.

The hybrid concept uses a drive system currently featuring a 3.4 liter V8 which is expected to increase in size before production starts. This is coupled with three 40kW electric motors using both regenerative braking and a more traditional plug-in system.
