  1. How does it work in the USA ? What kind of fines can you expect for doing 103 mph instead of 35 ? Can you go to jail for that ?

  2. if the officer is an asshole then yes you can go to jail, but more likely you will have a hell of a ticket and a court date. The ticket and court are required for any speeding offenses exceeding 30mph of the speed limit in USA.

  3. Thanks for the information.
In my country (Switzerland), you will get into very serious penal (legal) troubles for such speeding…
You’ll get an astonishing fine, based on your income and if you don’t pay it, you’ll go to jail. On top of that, you’ll lose your driver’s license for 2 years, for sure.
    Switzerland’s laws = fail.

  4. I love livin’ in Germany

Here you’ll only pay round about 400 euros if you’re speeding like this.

Anyway you can give it the beans on the unlimited Autobahn ;)

  5. yes u can go to jail it is a criminal offense. it actually can involve several tickets. reckless driving, extreme speed, it is enough to lose your license for 2yrs. plus the $1000.00 fine.
