Jenson Button, the reigning 2009 Formula One World Champion, has received one of only twenty DR 520s made. The vehicle is a special edition C 63 AMG and is only available from the ‘Specialist Products Division’ at Mercedes-Benz World.
The price of the car starts at £ 63,680 and includes some performance upgrades. The engine output is increased to a dyno rated 520hp – 60hp more than the standard C 63 AMG, and means the DR 520 can reach 0-100km/h (62mph) in just 4.2 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 301km/h (187mph).
On the outside the car has matt black body work, on the inside an interior lavished in leather and Alcantara.
